Thank you for insulting Mage: the Awakening, its fans and the occult
sources its based on.
Yah okay, so its a good game. But it is kind of insulting to real
mages.
Real mages? You think that's the target audience for the role-playing
game?
So it is a waste of $40 dollars
because the whole book is just a game system that doesn't contain any
occult knowledge or story to read.
I suspect someone who practices ceremonial magic in real life isn't
exactly dependent on White Wolf's role-playing line for the inside scoop
on the occult.

I concur. As a real mage, M:tA completely misrepresents my cohorts and
I. It is demeaning and unrealistic. I prefer Chopin during my magic
workings, and everyone knows there's no real work to be done without an
appropriate smattering of potpourri and sacrificial virgins.
I remember you!
And I, you.

And I, you.
I'm very hopeful that alt.games.whitewolf will have more to talk about in 2007.
I'm going to do my part by posting reviews of all the new World of Darkness
books I have read and will read, starting in January.

Good that you're back.

Yah okay, so its a good game. But it is kind of insulting to real
mages. It doesn't have enough plot and story built around magick. But
the more I read what it does have the more I enjoy it. My problem is I
don't agree with the rules of the game as being realistic, and I don't
have anyone to play it with either.
