How much would the Empress talk throughout a series? I mean, her roles
could just as easily be completed with a coupled scenes and the
narrator's voice, much like in the comic ~_^

Unless the story were placed before her disappearance, she would have
maybe 5 lines.

She's appear mostly in flashbacks, naturally. But she's a key figure
even in her absence.

I'd say Wendee Lee, but she'd be wasted on such a light role, even in
flashbacks. WL would do much better as the sultry Wood Aspected Cynis
Socialite...Lia Sargent would make for a pretty good Air Aspect, and
Steven Blum can be...any-damn-body he wants!^__~

I checked Wendee Lee, and the only thing in which I remember hearing
her work is Neverwinter Nights. And I didn't find Aribeth DeTylmarande
particularly memorable.

Sigourney Weaver, on the other hand, is the ICONIC tough, smart,
capable, and beautiful woman. Who could better play the Empress?

Never saw Cowboy Bebop? She was Faye Valentine...

Won't argue. Did you see her as the evil stepmother in that Snow White
remake?
